Good on Aileen Gabbey, executive director of the MDSPCA, for her response to the obnoxious column written by Dan Rodricks, columnist for the Baltimore Sun.
I just had a chance to take a look at a blog post written by Edward Ericson Jr., staff writer (and my former colleague) at City Paper. Though he did raise the ire of pit bull lovers and advocates by posting an image of a muzzled pit bull alongside what he wrote, he made good (in my opinion) by updating with info provided by the HSUS about the Maryland ruling and adding an additional (and not sensational) image of a normal pit bull posing with its family.
Edited to add: The omidog! blog also responds to Rodricks today.
